I am Katie. I am a wife and mother of one sweet little boy, and a SAHM. This is my blog - a place for me write the account of what has been happening in my world.
I love homemaking (crafting, decorating, home improvement projects, cooking & baking, organizing, gardening), working on my photography skills, coffee & diet coke, all things "green", and a good vacation. Recently, I have been enjoying exploring the art of sewing.
As a family, we try our best to keep the priorities of life in order - glorifying God, loving one another and serving others. This is what brings us peace and hope, knowing that we have a Savior who loves us so deeply that He sent His son as a sacrifice for our sin, so that we might find freedom and life in Him.
Rob, my husband, and I met at while we were attending college at Eastern University. We began dating within a few weeks of meeting and as they say, the rest is history. Rob is a high school social studies teacher.
Our son, Caleb, was born in August 2011. It has been such a joy to watch him grow and explore the world. He gives the best kisses, and loves to eat and play.
